Eternal Perspective
"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness" - Jesus
Eternal Perspective is about focus and vision. Pete Hanna is all about using hip hop and poetry to help you seek God and His kingdom first above everything else.
This idea permeates everything we do in life, from waking up in the morning to school, careers, families, and hobbies.
Born and raised in Canada by two Egyptian Immigrants, he was no stranger to the church. Since he was a baby he had been attending church almost every week. Somewhere along that path he lost his vision and started pursuing worldly things. He quickly learned that it left him empty and craving something more. It was when he was at his lowest that he realized God had been reaching down to him the whole time. The reality of the gospel hit him, and he confessed his sin and dedicated his life to Jesus.
After hearing Lecrae's Jesus Muzik, he embarked on his journey into hip hop. In 10th grade, he started writing lyrics and performing them a cappella. In his senior year, he started writing lyrics to music, and in 2018, he began recording his own songs.
To date, he has released an album and 3 singles under the moniker Prince of Egypt, and an EP & 8 singles as Pete Hanna.
Now, he's finishing up nursing school and is actively involved in his church and his university ministry. When he's not studying for classes, he's creating music to help you focus on the important things in life.
